Evidence for multiple forms of DNA polymerase in Hodgkin's disease.

disease can be distinguished from one another and from control human polymerases by their elution behavior upon diethylaminoethyl cellulose chromatography and Sephadex gel filtration, by the magnesium ion concentration for optimal activity, by the stimulatory or inhibitory effects upon enzymatic activity of monovalent cations, and by sensitivity of enzymatic activity to heparin inhibition. These studies at the molecular level support the mounting evidence of hetero geneity in Hodgkin's disease.
